A keloid on the chest is usually very difficult to deal with. They commonly recur. AS a first line treatment I usually recommend excision with serial steroid injections spaced 6 weeks apart for 3 rounds of injections. If this fails, then excision with local superficial radiation treatment has been found to have a higher success rate.
