David Goldberg, MD answers: Does Juvederm stimulate collagen growth?

Can't figure out if Juvederm stimulates collagen growth

Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid, much like Restylane. Restylane has been shown to stimulate collagen growth but not because of the actual filler, but because of the spreading of the collagen fibers induced by the injection into the skin. The fillers that clearly stimulate significant amounts of collagen are Radiesse and Sculptra.
