Invisalign has two basic protocols for teeth straightening.
1. Invisalign Express - Is a truncated version of the full version. It provides 10 trays worth of treatment ONLY. It's good for minor crowding, minor space closure, etc. Basically for smaller amounts of movement that could be accomplished in about 5 months of treatment. Cost is typically about $3000
2. Full Invisalign - Allows for large amounts of movement to take place and is really the substitute for those who don't want regular metal braces. There is no limit to the number of trays permitted through treatment (unlike Express) AND it allows for refinement at the end of treatment. Refinement is when you and the dentist want to continue "tweaking" certain teeth so that you end up with the perfect smile you imagined. Hope this helps.
