Typically NOT...In my experience, insurance carriers have specific guidelines that have to be adhered to and surgeons have to document before they "preauthorize" surgery. These requirements, although insurer specific, are usually concerned with the symptoms you are having, the duration of symptoms, non-surgical management (physical therapy), and the amount of breast tissue in grams the surgeon plans on removing...i.e. lots of paperwork and lots of waiting.
I suggest that you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who performs a significant number of breast lifts.
