The appealing aspect of both microdermabraison and glycolic acid peels are that you may achieve small incremental improvement for rejuvenation and acne scar with minimal downtime. To get the optimal benefit with least amount of recovery period, both treatments should be done on separate visits at least a couple weeks apart so that your skin may be primed to benefit from subsequent procedure. Remember to stop all prescription strength acne creams for 3 days prior to microdermbrasion if you desire to minimize downtime.
