Don't rush it. Enjoy your baby. Having a child has a high metabolic demand on a mother and give your body a chance to rebuild and strengthen itself.
You should wait a minimum of 3 months after weaning. Some say 6 months. The reason for the difference of opinion is that no one knows for sure.
But you do want to wait for your breasts to settle down, to stop changing, and for your body weight to settle before proceeding.
