Endoscopic browlifts in my experience are not really that painful for patients. I think the biggest issue is usually temporary numbness of the forehead and scalp. I tell my patients that downtime is usually less then a week depending on the amount of bruising one sees in the upper eyelid region. It may be 7-10 days before the bruising dissipates. Visible swelling is markedly gone by 5-6 days post surgery. Patients are allowed to wash their hair after two days post surgery. I don't let them color their hair or apply heat to their hair for about a month post surgery. The results are immediate and for most of my patients, satisfaction is very high.
