Yes makeup - variable swelling

D.J. Verret, MD answers: How much swelling is caused by Botox or Juvederm?

I know that everyone is different but can you give me an "average" of how much swelling I should expect from my Juvederm and Botox injections? Will I be able to return to work the following day without looking odd to the general public? Will I be able to apply makeup as normal the next morning?

The most variable thing after any cosmetic procedure is the amount of bruising and swelling which occurs. Usually even the worst bruising and swelling can be covered with make up after Botox or Juvederm injections. Unfortunately everyone is different. As for applying makeup - no problem the next morning.
