Hisham Seify, MD,PhD answers: How long is the recovery time for Brazilian Butt Lift?

I want to go for the Brazilian Butt Lift in March. Can someone tell me what is the usual recovery time for this type of procedure?

The procedure will take around 2-4 hours depending on how much volume is needed. You could go home the same day with an adult or have an overnight stay in a medical facility.

Post-operative instructions will include wearing compression garments for areas that underwent liposuction and some restrictions on sitting and sleeping for the first week or so.

It is not uncommon to go back to work in 7-10 days. You still need to wear the garment for 6 weeks total.

I hope that helps!
