I had a tummy tuck about 3 weeks ago.  How long should I expect the swelling to last?

Swelling after a tummy tuck really depends on the extent of the procedure (mini versus full) as well as the length of the incision, and the amount of associated liposuction.

However, in general, it is not uncommon for paitents to remain swollen for a minimum of two months before they report significant decrease in the edema and improvements with decreased clothing sizes.
