One of the best things about the fillers are that the results are immediate. In the "old days" with Zyderm I (collagen) one over-corrected. As the water (saline) drained away, one received the results.
However, this is not done with the hyaluronic acid fillers. The results are immediate.
Perhaps, more needs to be injected to receive the results you want. If you requested one syringe, your physician might have performed a balancing act, injecting the substance in an even distribution. The results might not have been what you really wanted.
Most physicians will discount the second and third syringes.
It is stressed in course after course that the physician should tell the patient beforehand that they can only give you the desired result if (fill in the blank) syringes are used.
