Forehead wrinkles

There are many different options for forehead wrinkles.

Surgical options include a forehead lifts as well as destruction of temporal branch of the facial nerve.

Non surgical options typically are best treated with BOTOX.

Three areas are typcially injectied:

1. Horizontal forehead lines require multiple injections
2. Vertical frown lines include destruction of the glabellar frown lines
3. Crow's feet

Botox injections generally last from 3-5 months

Wrinkles of the forehead are due to the activity of the muscles that animate that portion of your face.

Botox is classically the answer to this issue and works very well. I use it myself there and it can be titrated to relieve the wrinkles without freezing your forehead unless you want that ( a minority of patients actually do ).

A brow lift can permanently relieve those wrinkles as some of those muscle fibers can be permanently removed and the eyebrows can be repositioned at the same time.
