Treating forehead wrinkles - Botox (or grow out your bangs)

Michael Persky, M.D. answers: Forehead wrinkle treatments

What treatments are there for forehead wrinkles?

Bangs are "poor man's Botox".

Botox is the best treatment for both horizontal forehead wrinkles and the vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows. There is a relatively new treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to permanently destroy the nerves that move the forehead muscles that cause the lines. There are other surgical procedures that are more permanent. When used properly, Botox is natural looking.

One must be very careful with the permanent fixes as they may result in an unnatural "plastic" look. When all else fails, let your bangs grow out.
