Robert M. Jensen, MD answers: How can I reduce the Juvederm in my lips?

I just had my lips done with Juvederm four days ago, and my upper lip looks bigger. I am not happy with it. Is there anything I can do to remove some of it? Please help.

The lips are still going to be swollen for 2 to 3 weeks after an injection.  Most patients are satisfied once the swelling goes down.  Hyulronidase can be injected to dissolve the juvederm, but should be used only after the lips have had a chance to heal.
