Glycolic Acid Prep for TCA Peel?

I've determined that I'm a Skin Type IV and would like to give myself a 15% TCA peel for hyperpigmentation. I've read that AHAs and Retin-A are used to prep the skin prior to a TCA peel.

I have a 10% Glycolic Acid cream that I was hoping to use to prep my skin. I would like to know if this AHA percentage is adequate. How many weeks should I use it prior to the peel, and how many times per week I should apply it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
