Fraxel laser can be beneficial for scar improvement but there are many factors that come into play in determining where this type of technology will help your particular scar, including Fitzpatrick skin type, the character of the scar ( flat versus raised), age of the scar, and more. In our hands, scars that tend to fare the best with Fraxel Re:Store treatments are mature, thin scars in lighter skinned individuals. I recommend you followup with a board certified plastic surgeon who is experience in Fraxel Laser Therapy and have he/she evaluate your particular situation to see if you would benefit from such a treatment.
