Armando Soto, MD answers: Financing plastic surgery: monthly payments?

Can I pay for breast implant, lip enhancement, and rhinoplasty surgeries on a monthly basis instead of paying for them all at the same time? I'm wondering because I am very intrested in those 3 cosmetic surgeries and I am planning on getting them soon. I just want more information on it.

Hi there-

Most surgeons offer their patients at least a couple of options for financing desired procedures. Most of the institutions that fund these plans offer several time periods over which you can pay, with a small (or no) interest- the most popular plans in my practice are "12 months same as cash" options, in which no interest is paid (there is a small financing fee) if you pay it off within 1 year.

I would find a board certified plastic surgeon you like and ask which options his/her office offers.
