Fat transfer for breast enlargement has been very popular in Europe for a number of years. It cannot increase breast size much more than a cup size and in Europe that is usually what women want. The technique works but I would not recommend doing the fat harvesting with ultrasonic Liposuction because the ultrasonic energy would most likely result in less viable fat. If the fat is not viable it is more likely to result in oil cysts, calcification and necrosis.
The best technique in my opinion would be to harvest the fat with a syringe and centrifuge it to obtain the most concentrated fat. Injection must be made in multiple planes and honeycombed to get the best results. If it is injected as a single bolus it will create all sorts of complications.
I have performed this technique successfully for small breast defects. Fat grafting to the breast is still controversial in the US is slowly gaining acceptance since it has been shown not to create calcification that could be confused with breast cancer.
