When is a face lift the best choice?

There are MANY treatments for facial aging, but none correct jowls and skin/neck laxity as well as a facelift.  Injectables like Dysport, Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, etc. do wonders for upper face lines and midface folds.  Skin care / peels / laser resurfacing help erase fine lines and hyperpigmentation. These treatments are typically a prelude in the 30s and 40s to a facelift when you reach 50, but age isn't the best predictor. Your face is.

Bottom line: when you are bothered by loose facial skin, jowls, and neck sagging, chances are you will best be served by a facelift.
