Pregnancy will cause the abdominal fascia to stretch. The fascia between the abdominal muscles also becomes stretched and the muscles separate. As you exercise and tone your muscles you will notice the muscles get stronger but the fascia will not change. You will not damage or hurt the muscles by doing exercises. However, when you relax the muscles you notice the laxity of the abdominal wall and you will look several months pregnant.
Keep doing your exercises and you will be in good condition to do your tummy tuck. The best time to do a tummy tuck is when you have finished with pregnancies and you are stable with your weight.
