Did you gain weight after liposuction?

Last year I got lipo done on my abdomen (belly) and cankles. I think the fat is all coming back ALREADY!! Did anyone else who's had lipo get this quick weight gain in the treated areas? maybe my body wants to store fat, like it or not, in my ankles and abs. Frustrated in Florida (female, 29, 1 child)

it has been a year today that i had my liposuction. the doctor says he removed 15 pounds of fat but i never loss 15 pounds in fact i weigh exactly the same one year later. My problem is that i feel i looked deformed. my doctor says that i gave all the weight he took out and 15 more because I weigh the same, but that is not the truth! I do excercise and eat well but still cannot lose. what can i do!

I also gained weight after lipo, and it's extremely hard to lose it. It's almost as if my body wanted or needed the fat cells which were suctioned out! Since my buttocks and hips were treated, I gained weight on my waist and belly. Frankly, my body shaped changed entirely, and not really for the better. I think there's something else going on here, not explained at all well or understood by doctors.

I have the same problem. I had liposuction done and it looks as though nothing was done. My surgeon said it wasn't fat, it was skin. Who were your surgeons?
