It is very difficult to equate the size of implants needed by purely quantitative factors such as your height, weight, and current breast size. All implants will create a volumetric increase in size, but the aesthetic improvement is more important than the quantitative improvement. I begin my discussions by having patients come to my clinic with a plain white, tight shirt and a sportsbra and have them try on different size implants to determine the range of sizes. I then use that range in surgery to determine the most appropriate aesthetic match.
The final point is whether you are still swollen post pregnancy and breast feeding, as this volume may dissipate within months.
