For cheek augmentation, how do I decide between getting cheek implants or having a permanent filler injected into my cheeks?

Permanent fillers are primarily used for naso-labial folds, and with the right type of filler patients can have excellent results. We prefer to use the temporary fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm.

If the cheek itself is flat, hypoplastic, and has poor projection and is sagging, a cheek implant can be placed over the cheekbone to augment the cheeks and give a nice rejuvenation effect to the mid portion of the face.
