I treat every patient the same. The reason we make decisions in medicine is that we choose the path that will give the best outcome with the least risk. Thinking that someone will get a better treatment because they are a "VIP" is not valid. More likely than not, if a doctor modifies their regime to accommodate a VIP, they are probably compromising their usual good techniques. (A simple example would be a celebrity who doesn't want to wear the nasal splint for 5 days - maybe they could "handle it" for the weekend, but not the following week. Physiology doesn't change! There is a very good reason why the splint is recommended for a certain length of time, and that should not be compromised.)
So in my practice - every patient gets the best treatment I can offer, no matter who you are!
