Botox not used for plumping lips

Botox is not used for making lips plumper. I use Botox in small amounts for smoothing out vertical lines in the upper lip. I also inject Botox into the DAO muscle to help lift the corner of the mouth and cheek. These are "off-label" uses of Botox, so in my opinion it is very important that you seek a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has extensive experience with these types of treatments.

The best product for plumper lips is Juvederm or Restylane. There is an art to injecting hyaluronic acid fillers into the lips. I use a 3-level injection procedure to achieve a plumper and natural looking upper and lower lip.
