Can I get breast implants while on Accutane? The doctor says that he uses local anesthesia with sedation. I am on my next to last month of Accutane. This doctor uses an under arm incision.

I actually just cancelled a patient who needed a minor revision of a breast implant pocket because she has started on Accutane therapy. She will have to wait for 6 months after cessation of therapy for her surgery. It is all based on what is safest for you.
