Breast lift would be best

Dean Joseph Fardo, MD answers: Breast Lift or other options for breast implants that sit too low?

I currently have 575 HP saline breast implants under the muscle and I feel they sit too low. I want a higher, tighter look, but I don't really want to go bigger. Can I get a breast lift without removing my current implants? What would be my options? Possibly with the least amount of scarring, because my scars are pretty dark still after 2 years. How much does a procedure like that cost on average? Thanks.

It is always difficult to render advice without an exam, but your picture does help. It appears that a mastopexy (or breast lift) is what may be needed to give you the look you desire.  In addition, the fold under the breast may also need to be raised.  This can be done at the same time as a breast lift and you can keep the same implants. The option of going to smaller implants also exists.  Unfortunately, I do not believe the look you desire is possible without scars. You would likely have scars around the areola, and then straight down to the fold.  The good news, however, is that you will likely get better appearing scars than if the lift was done concurrently with the breast augmentation. A consultation with a plastic surgeon should answer any other questions you may have. Take care.
