Breast augmentation size involves several factors

I am a 34 AA, slim, 42-year-old who is very sporty. My ribcage under my breast is 30 inches. I am having breast implants and don't want to have large breasts, just some! Under the muscle my surgeon says, but sizing, he recommends 200 cc. I am thinking maybe 175 cc or is that pathetic? Also, I have been told you can lose 10% by going under the muscle? What would you advise for me?

Based on your picture and desires, I think you have very realistic goals for achieving a good result from breast augmentation surgery.

Factors to be considered are 1) amount of breast tissue and elasticity of your skin 2) diameter of your breast 3) breast size you would like to achieve.

I belive that placing silicone implants below the muscle will achieve a very natural look for you.  Your desire to be smaller, and proportional (not to large) to your body size, will also increase your chances of having an optimal outcome.

I think the decisions you have made are appropriate for your goals of achieving a natural appearing look from your surgery.
