Lip Rejuvenation often involves the correction of wrinkle lines around the lips (perioral rhytids) and thin (atrophic) lips. Treatment depends on the degree of rhytids and atrophy. I have no pictures of you lips, but since you are only 48 yrs old, I would recommend conservative treatment with injectable fillers.
Lips respond well to hyluronic acid injectables, which last about 6 months and produces "kissable lips". It is best to pick a injector with experience who understands your goals for treatment as well as explains everything to you as you both look in the mirror. I recommend that you ask you injector for a "dental block" at least for your first time. I also recommend that the injector massage you lips after the injection to make sure they are no slight imperfections and are symmetrical.
