Are these implants too big for me

Michael C. Edwards, MD answers: Will 400cc HP breast implants look fine on small frame?

I am 4'11" and 100 lbs. I am now a 32 B. I am considering 400cc with silicone high profile breast implants. Do you think that will be okay on my frame?

There are a number of factors to consider in the choice of a breast implant. I like to ask a patient what bra size they are trying to achieve although we most certainly can never promise a cup or bra size. This allows me to get an idea as to whether it is achievable or not. Next, your measurements and skin and soft tissue needs to be carefully considered. If the base width of the implant fits within the dimensions of your breast and your tissues will relax and accept the implant, it should sork fine for you. I would hightly recommend a partially under the muscle placement due to you being a thin woman. Lastly, I always allow my patients to size with the breast implants in a sports bra to give you somewhat of an idea of what your result will approach. If that is the volume you want then I agree that a high profile implant will work best for you. Best of luck.

400 cc implants are a good size implant that will give you a certain look.  Have you tried them on to see how you feel with them?

I would suspect you would be a D bra with this size.  What is the base diameter of your breast and  base diameter of the implant?  This size comparison will also give you a clue as to how natural or unnatural the final look will be.  You will need to decide how prominent and big you want to be.

Best Wishes
