Otto Joseph Placik, MD answers: Am I a good candidate for Brow lift and Blepharoplasty?

My eyebrows droop inwards too much, and I always have to lift the inner area up to stop the heavy feeling from my forehead and to keep from having an angry looking expression (which has caused deep forehead wrinkles). My upper eyelids always look a little puffy no matter how much I sleep.

Would a brow lift combined with eyelid surgery be the right procedures to fix the problem, or is there anything else you would recommend me to do? Attached is a picture of my normal, relaxed expression.

Your pictures depict what appears to be a very young individual. This is great news! I have to agree with the other excellent surgeons here and recommend that you avoid a blepharoplasty and begin with subtle grooming of the eyebrows. If this does not achieve your goals you may want to consider a brow lift. However, the effects should be subtle and the brooding appearance may recur.
