a doctor near miami said he does 700 breast augs a year. Is that possible? Do you think that qualifies him more so than the doctor that does a lot fewer?

Breast implant volume and pricing

I agree with the other experts- there could be a reason behind such a large number, usually it is price related. Don't base your decision on volume alone. Look at photos, get a sense for his/her style, does the personality fit? Make sure your surgeon is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, make sure you are not herded through the office like cattle given the supposed volume. Interview a couple of docs so you know what is out there. Good luck! more

How many implants a year makes a good surgeon

If your surgeon is doing 700 implants a year, then he probably does not do anything else.  A good surgeon does not have to do nearly as many as that to be good.  Don't go by the number go by the results.

Is that pairs or counted individually? High volume of breast implants

That certainly is alot of breast augmentations even if he/she did half that amount.  Although it speaks to quantity, it does not necessarily refer to quality. There may be many reasons why the volume is that high: it could be the outstanding results or it could be that he/she if the low price leader. I would confirm their reputation in the medical community and their qualifications.
