Ask a QuestionWhat Size and Shape Implants Are Best for Natural-looking Breasts?
I'm 5'9, very lean, small 32B w/little fat on chest plate, tear drop breast. What size implant is best to maintain natural look? I don't want the taut, shiny look that is happens with some augmentations. Though I wish had more fullness in my chest, I realize my ribcage is narrow and I'm very lean especially up top. So the last thing I want is the implant to be even remotely visible. My question is regards to size of the cc implant and if a particular profile makes a difference.

Natural look
The natural look as you say really depends upon what you are looking for. In general, the smaller you go, and the more soft tissue cover you have the more natural they will appear.

Natural is what nature gave you. The softest profile, if that wi what you seek and be careful what you ask for, will be achieved with a moderate profile, silcone implant placed uder the muscle. However this may not achieve the degree of augmentation you seek.

The key to a natural appearing augmentation is tissue coverage for the implant and appropriate implant sizing. Based on your description, a sub-muscular implant would conceal the borders of the implant best. Additionally, an implant with a base diameter narrower than your breast's base diameter would also result in a natural appearing augmented breast.

It sounds like you have realistic desires for your breast size, which is great. The best size and shape can really only be determined by examining your breasts and the amout of stretch in your tissues. Based upon your self-description, I would recommend having the implant placed beneath the muscle to hide the upper edge as much as possible. Size for most natural augmentation
The key is to hide the implant as much as possible with your tissue. The less tissue you have, the smaller the implant should. This is usually contrary to what a patient intrinsically wants and what she gets so alot of these patients look unnatural. The implant you chose should ideally be no wider than the width of your natural breast and the less projection the less obvious it will look.
