I had a 50% glycolic peel yesterday and now my eyes are very swollen. I asked my dermatologist why did I have such bad swelling and she assured me that the swelling will go away. Does the swelling completely go away? I am in a panic. Please help!!

Swelling after peels should resolve quickly
Any injury around the eyes (peels, laser, surgery) will lead to swelling. I always caution my patients that their eyes may swell completely shut by the next morning. Generally some ice will bring most of this down and the eyes should be mostly back to normal after a few days.
