Hollow lower eyelids can be treated by fillers, fat transfer or surgery
As we age the cheeks fall away from the eyesockets exposing the bone beneath. There are a number of treatments that we can use to improve this situation. Fillers such as Restylane can be injected to soften the hollow. Fat can be taken from elsewhere in your body and injected as well.

Eye hollows easily lift and fill with Hyaluronic Gel fillers
The simplest option is a hyaluronic gel filler such as Restylane or Belotero. Injected with a smooth tipped micro cannula, these gels can be precisely placed with the most minimal risk for bruising.

What is available for tear troughs?
The hollows you describe and show in your photo are what we call tear troughs. The appearance can be dramatically improved with careful placement of a hyaluronic filler such as Juvederm or Restylane. Be sure to seek out someone skilled in injecting this area. A location such as this is called using the product off label so should be done by a physician.
