2wks Post Op Septorhinoplasty. I Can See a Blue Plastic Sheet Up my Nose. Is This Okay?

It is two weeks post op on my septorhinoplasty. I have had much post op check and have been discharged. I can now see a blue plastic sheet up one side of my nose. It seems to have slipped down. I can also see done blue stiches. Have they left a nasal splint in my nose?

Blue Plastic Sheet in Nose 2 Weeks Post-op

Your surgeon may have intentionally left a temporary "blue plastic sheet" in your nose 2 weeks after your rhinoplasty if septal reconstruction was necessary. It is rare that a surgeon "discharges" a patient 2 weeks after surgery - ask him/her about the sheet.
