Treatment of "Big Untoned Breasts"?

Thank you for the question. It would be in your best interest to be exempt in person by a well experienced board-certified plastic surgeon. “Big untoned breasts” leaves much to interpretation/imagination; this does not replace in person consultation. Generally speaking breast lifting/reduction may be necessary to achieve your goals. I hope this helps.

Untoned breasts?

I assume by the term untoned you mean sagging. If the breasts are sagging, a breast lift is often an option. It is something that can be evaluated during an exam.

A breast reduction or lift will treat large breasts with strectch marks

If you feel your breast are too large, sag and have stretch marks a breast reduction or lift should be able to help. Both procedures lift the position of the nipple/areola and tighten the skin around the breast. They also both reshape the breast. A breast reduction can also make the breast smaller. Stretch mark may be reduced if they are located in a area where skin is removed, usually on the underside of the breast. Sometimes stretch marks can look better when the skin is pulled... more

Stretch marks are tears in the deep portion of the skin, the dermis and there's no real good answer for treating stretch marks themselves. The only thing can do is... more

A breast reduction can also reduce the areolar (pigmented skin around the nipple) if this is big as well. The tightening of the skin as part of your reduction will not remove the stretch marks but will make them appear more shallow and therefore less visible. Make sure that you discuss the procedure and your desired... more

Big breasts with stretchmarks require lift or lift plus reduction.

You will require a full lift (Wise-pattern or "anchor" mastopexy) with removal of about an ounce of skin if your breast volume is proportionate with your body size. This operation tightens the skin brassiere in two dimensions and leaves a pleasing shape with scars around your areolas, from the areola to the crease, and in your inframammary creases. If your breasts are not only saggy and drooping, but too large for your body, then the same pattern of incisions is utilized (and... more

options for large breasts with stretch marks

If you feel your breasts are too large, a reduction would be indicated. This would remove whatever degree of volume you would like and also accomplish a breast lift. Stretch marks in the upper aspect of the breasts would not be removed or improved with this procedure.

Breast lift

If you are happy with the size of your breast, then breast lift is the best option. If your breasts are bigger than you want, the the best option is reduction/lift.
