Answer: You must be 22 years old to have silicone gel implants unless it is for reconstruction Thank you for your question. In my opinion it is best to follow the FDA guidelines and wait until you're 22 to have gummy bear implants.Saline implants can be used and are best placed beneath the chest muscle. You must be aware however that saline implants are more likely to cause visible rippling than are silicone implants.

I will place silicone implants in patients under 22 yrs old but first have an informed consent and have them sign a waiver that they are aware that they are being used in "off label' FDA use. #IDEALimplants#breastaugmentation#breastimplants
