Medicaid for breast reduction

Few plastic surgeons accept Medicaid. Additionally, the few Medicaid programs that will pay for breast reduction will not authorize surgery on a patient under age 18. So, I would suggest seeking out a teaching program and inquiring whether you could have the surgery performed by a resident in training as a plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

Medicaid and breast reductions

Unfortunately, Medicaid reimbursement to the surgeon really doesn't even cover the cost of doing the surgery anymore so most times, a University plastic surgery training residency program is the place to go for a reduction because they will generally take Medicaid. Good luck!

Medicaid for Breast Reduction

It will probably be almost impossible to find a surgeon that will accept Medicaid as their reimbursement amount is very low. You might try to find a University with a medical school and teaching program, it might not be at no cost but should be at a greatly reduced fee. Good luck! see video
