The secret to a great answer:

Online readers skim text ... they don't read

1. Highlight keywords

2. Create meaningful answer headlines with keywords (not “clever” ones)

3. Use lists - bullets or numbered

4. Keep to 1 idea per paragraph

5. Start with the conclusion, the answer (the inverted pyramid style of writing)

6. Edit yourself.  Use half the word count (or less) of conventional writing

7. Avoid vague answers. If you can't answer, skip it.

8. Right-click on the red underlined spell-checked words for suggestions on corrections.

Last but certainly not least: have fun, showing personality helps consumers build trust.
