Aesthetic plastic surgeon Mark L. Jewell, M.D. served as president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in 2005-06. The governor for the National Endowment for Plastic Surgery and member of the board of directors for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, he also serves as an associate editor for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
In 2003, ASAPS awarded Dr. Jewell the Tiffany Award for best scientific presentation. He held the prestigious Joyce Kaye Lecturship from 1998 to 2004, taught numerous scientific courses, and authored multiple scientific journal articles, including the ASPS Patient Consultation Resource Guide.
