Hello I got four veeners at the front of my upper teeth and I'm inlove with them. Problem is Im having to wait nearly two months for my new retainer!! I have worn my retainer every night for around four years since I had invisign treatment. It'd just the clear plastic one. I'm massively panicking because the dentist can't see me sooner! Will my teeth move in the next two months? As I had a bad overbite before. I'm still wearing my bottom one every night. Thank you Gemma
I had braces around 7 to 8 years ago. I am 23 years old now. I had partially impacted lower 3rd molars and recurrent pericoronitis so I had them extracted.Prior the extraction, I noticed my lower left second premolar had shifted lingually. My orthodontist also suggested there might be movement because of the lower thirds. However, now that they're out I'm waiting for the tooth to go back to position. However just yesterday I noticed that my upper left premolar has also shifted lingually a little.
I had braces when I was about 15 but they pushed my top front teeth back as I have two front teeth missing. This has made me extremely self conscious about my teeth! Just wondering what would happen if I got veneers, would they be moved forward or would I need a brace again to push them forward and then get veneers?
I had braces when I was an adolescent, however, they did not remove my wisdom teeth. This later created movement when they grew out and became an issue. The only teeth I want to correct are the two front teeth. I feel that the one tooth may have declined too far back, but wanted to get more opinions before I start going in for consiltations since I have to schedule off work each time.
I have porcelain veneers on my two front teeth. I got them about four months ago. Last month, my little brother hit these veneers with a spoon (by mistake). Now I feel like they move slightly. I don't know if they used to be this way before I was hit. The veneers don't visibly move when I touch them. However, if I place a finger on them while biting down, I feel like they move a little (very little). Does this usually happen? I don't see any cracks or feel any pain. Should they be replaced?
I've had my top front 8 teeth veneered for 4.5 years. I am a light grinder and wear a mouth guard. My dentist says I have great oral hygiene and healthy gums. Lately I've noticed a moving sensation with 3 of my veneered teeth when I eat. I can even hear them click. They feel like they're moving for several minutes after I'm done eating. Is it possible for food to get under the veneer? Or is my entire tooth moving? My dentist has never heard of this and didn't notice any movement at my last appt.
Hiya, I had rute treatment last month, the dentist said that 2 front teeth were dead. So got it done and was on a weeks anti-biotics, which seemed to help for a while. The other day i tested them to see if they had gained any strength back (as they used to be wobly) so i moved them with my fingers. And they still are! point is, since then the sensitivity has came back, doesnt happen everytime i eat but sometimes when i dont eat at all. Shud i go bk to dentist? Help!!
