I am due to have a decayed tooth extracted in a few weeks - the tooth is at the very back of my mouth. I want to have veneers on my 4 front teeth (which are healthy) - is it ok to have the veneer treatment first, before the tooth at the back gets extracted?
I recently completed orthodontic treatment for crowding/crossbite. During treatment, they extracted 2 upper premolars. The plan was to do this & continue with jaw surgery. I moved and saw a new ortho who thought the extractions were a mistake and I didn't need surgery. I already had a small smile and the extractions affected my face. My smile is narrow, my upper lip droops into a downward "V", and I have developed under-eye bags from the lack of arch support. Can veneers help with reversing this?
I am looking for a quixk fix to adjust t he middle line I removed a milk teeth from the right 2 years ago and my teeth shifted badly to the right ,ortho advised to get braces for 2 years ago by extract a tooth but I was thinking if veneers ,do you think veneers might fix it ?
I had braces around 7 to 8 years ago. I am 23 years old now. I had partially impacted lower 3rd molars and recurrent pericoronitis so I had them extracted.Prior the extraction, I noticed my lower left second premolar had shifted lingually. My orthodontist also suggested there might be movement because of the lower thirds. However, now that they're out I'm waiting for the tooth to go back to position. However just yesterday I noticed that my upper left premolar has also shifted lingually a little.
When I had braces as a kid, I had 4 teeth extracted. I don't know if this was a good choice or not, but I have very little upper lip support. It makes my upper lip look small and shriveled, and I have spaces on each side of my smile not filled by teeth. Could veneers help give proper support to my upper lip and fill the spaces a bit?
I have porcelain veneers on my front 6 teeth. I have crowns but I can't tell you where. I have a molar (#3) that needs a root canal. Long story short, my insurance is not going to help. I want to know if I get it extracted if my teeth will shift? I do not want a gap especially in the front. Someone just mentioned to me that they shouldn't shift since they are veneers.
I would definitely need small cavities taken care of prior to this and maybe a dental implant for a missing lower tooth. Is this even a possibility? I am really afraid to get dentures.
My treatment each month, which will continue for my lifetime, consists of hormonal therapy as well as a bisphosphonate (Xgeva). Although data is somewhat shaky, we're warned that teeth manipulation, - extractions and other procedures are often mentioned - can result in osteonecrosis of the jaw (a Very unpleasant and incurable condition.) I very much want veneers, since my teeth were darkened after chemo/early treatments. Any info would be much appreciated!
