This full-mouth reconstruction or “smile makeover” transformed the patient’s life. She was referred to me for dentures... and had serious oral health issues: several missing teeth, loose teeth, spaces between teeth and extensive tooth decay. After discussing options with the patient, she was pleased to hear that many of her teeth could be salvaged, and conventional dentures were not her only option. With a few dental implants, ceramic crowns and aggressive periodontal treatment, we were able to save many of her teeth, greatly improve her smile and totally restore her bite. After treatment, she reported being able to eat anything she wanted.
