Spider veins can affect the skin on the face, around the nose, the cheeks, and along the legs and thighs. Sun damage is a contributing factor, but in addition, genetics, rosacea, occupation, presence of varicose veins in the legs, and trauma can also contribute to the development of spider veins. Facial spider veins can be removed with a laser that can zap away the stubborn spider veins.
