This San Francisco woman, in her 30's, had long thought about a chin augmentation procedure. She consulted with Dr. Mabrie to discuss surgical options. During the consultation they also discussed the possibility of a non-surgical procedure. Dr. Mabrie used a saline test to see if she liked the results. She did, so they decided to perform a non-surgical chin augmentation. Because she only needed a small to moderate amount of augmentation, she was actually a great candidate for either surgical or non-surgical chin augmentation. While the surgery only involves an hour of a minimally invasive procedure with a 5-7 day recovery, the non-surgical option is done in 15 minutes, in the office, with essentially no down time. In this case, she went with the non-surgical chin augmentation and Radiesse was used.
