Coblation is a skin resurfacing technique that smoothes out wrinkles, tightens skin, lightens sunspots, rejuvenates collagen... and elastic tissue in the skin, and gives the skin a youthful appearance. Coblation has been used in around the world for nearly 20 years with good results.  The procedure employs a hand piece to deliver radiofrequency energy to the skin.  The energy is converted to heat, which removes the upper sun damaged skin layers, and causes the deeper layers to “shrink wrap”.   The results are similar to laser skin resurfacing, but slightly less effective than the CO2 laser.  The benefits of Coblation over CO2 laser skin resurfacing are faster, easier recovery, less chance of loss of skin color, while achieving ~85% of the result of CO2 Laser more »
