This patient came to our office seeking facial and skin rejuvenation to reverse signs of aging.To achieve her goals, we performed our signature FaceologyLIFT which was effective in sculpting her jawline, lifting her neck, and tightening her skin. After her procedure, she underwent CO2 Laser Resurfacing to reduce the appearace of sun damage and deep wrinkles while enhancing her overall complexion.

We went on a journey together to improve her facial structure with dermal fillers, Dysport and a facial. First we did Dysport in the upper face to smoothe lines and wrinkles. We then placed 2 Juvederm Voluma midface (lateral cheeks) to restore the youthful G-curve and lift her lateral face. 1 syringe of Juvederm Volbella was placed to the tear trough to brighten and cast shadows out of that under eye area and 2 syringes of Juvederm Ultra Plus were placed to her lips. She looks so refreshed!

Our patient underwent a full facelift: In the upper third, video endoscopy was performed.In the middle third, a High SMAS vertical lift was performed.The eyelid region was treated by removing a minimal amount of fat from the bags through the conjunctiva (transconjunctival blepharoplasty).On the neck, we performed a cervicoplasty: we removed fat and pulled the neck muscle backward (Platysma).We also performed fat injections in the cheeks, lips, and chin.Despite the firm and toned appearance, the amount of skin removed was minimal.Modern facelift techniques focus on repositioning deep fibro-adipose structures, repositioning and tightening the facial musculature, restoring volume with the patients own fat, and performing a redrapethat is, reattaching the skin with minimal tension.The patient is currently on day 28 post-surgery.
