This is a "45-year-old" woman who was diagnosed with DCIS of the Left breast. She had previously undergone two lumpectomies, and came to visit Dr. Hunsicker to explore immediate reconstruction options as she had decided to proceed with bilateral mastectomy surgery. This patient did not need chemotherapy, and in her case, if she elected to have the mastectomies she would also not need radiation. Prior to surgery, she was a 36C-cup and desired to go slightly fuller after reconstruction. Nipple sparing mastectomy was an option on the Right breast only. She elected to have immediate reconstruction using Silicone Cohesive Gel implants, and these After photos were taken at her 6 week post operative visit.
