He is now back to having a straight nose and, most importantly, can breathe out of it. If you know of anyone who breaks their nose, or thinks they broke their nose, have them seek medical attention within two weeks for a possible "resetting" of the nose.

This gentleman is an extreme kayaker who went off of Oregon's 50-foot Celestial Falls. Due to an incorrect angle of entry,... the patient's face slammed into the boat and created this traumatic nasal fracture and deviation. We took him to the operating room 5 days later and performed a closed nasal reduction and septoplasty. His nose became much straighter and he could breath well out of it as well. more »
